What is a Bridge

ORIGIN OF THE ROOT WORD "BRIDGE"

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/bridge

I highly suggest you research the etymology of the word bridge......

It is rather confounding. The word itself is

an example of the connection between bodies of water, physiology, and psychology both proverbial and applied.

It describes that which can both connected or disconnected from an entity or object from one place to another.

You can bridge in cards, your nose and teeth have bridges, music has bridges...

You can both Bridge and be bridged... something which bridges is bridging and can also be bridged.

I say this in such a way to imply the numerous applications for the word.

Speaking of numbers

The word origin alone connects several countries, concepts and artistic endeavors.

Nearly anything can be bridged... including our bodies, minds and devices.

Bridges:
a structure carrying a road, path, railroad, or canal across a river, ravine, road, railroad, or other obstacle.
"a bridge across the river"
(perhaps the bridge between two worlds)

silent faulty feeling
